Optimizing Exercise Intensity and Duration with a Machine-Learning Model for Strengthening Immune System

This study investigates the effects of exercise intensity and duration on the immune system. 200 healthy individuals took part in the study conducted by Allameh Tabataba'i University, analyzing their physical data (weight, height, BMI, max HR) and their leukocytes levels. Using a Random Forest model, it was determined that intensity has a higher importance than duration in predicting WBCs level. Polar and Tanaka explore how technology and exercise can be combined to enhance athletic performance.
