Uncommon raises €28M to expand RNA technology-based lab-grown meat production
Uncommon, a UK-based start-up, secures $30m in Series A funding to expand its RNA lab-cultivated bacon and pork belly operation. The capital will strengthen regulatory compliance, drive down costs, and increase production capabilities at its pilot factory for a 5% global market share by 2035. With over $35m in total funding, Uncommon stands out from the cell-based meat field with the RNA lab process, backed by Balderton and Lowercarbon investors.
