At West Virginia University (WVU), researchers are helping high school seniors and college students gain confidence in coding ChatGPT, a popular AI chatbot, in order to improve their problem-solving skills and critical thinking. Research led by Michael Hu, an assistant professor in WVU’s School of Medicine, has resulted in the creation of the OPTIMAL model to help protect students from any incorrect outputs from the ChatGPT.
