San Francisco-based SuperDuperDB has released version 0.1 of its open-source framework, aiming to bring artificial intelligence (AI) into enterprise databases. The framework, available as a Python package, allows users to integrate AI models and vector search capabilities with existing databases, enabling the development of AI applications directly on top of them. SuperDuperDB has already received $1.75m in early funding from Hetz.vc, Session.vc, and the venture capital arm of MongoDB. The framework supports popular AI models and databases, providing an opportunity for organisations to build and manage AI applications more easily.
