Strengthening Generative AI with Zoho’s OpenAI and ZIA Integration

Date:

Zoho Corporation is leading the charge with their integration of OpenAI in their applications. OpenAI is a new machine learning technology designed to foster intelligent and automated decision-making. Steven Gabbard, founder of Contractor Foreman – a provider of construction management software – gave comment on the new development, saying “The AI continues to improve, so will the ability for our team members to serve our customers by helping us work smarter, not harder.”

Integrating OpenAI with its existing technology platform, Zia, Zoho has built its applications to work in tandem with Zia. By enabling generative AI capabilities within their applications, customers can use their existing OpenAI account API keys. OpenAI will be billing customers directly based on how many APIs are used. Zoho is also actively introducing new extensions and integrations for Zoho Desk, Cliq, and Writer within the Zoho Marketplace.

When it comes to data security and privacy, Zoho Corporation takes it seriously. Strict oversight of customer data, privacy, and security are implemented across the entire Zoho infrastructure, while setting up its very own data centers makes sure that customer information remains secure. With more than 90 million users around the world, it’s no surprise that hundreds of thousands of companies choose Zoho to run their businesses, including Zoho itself.

Albeit a young company, Zoho is making a name for itself with its sheer range of applications across multiple business categories, giving users a generous choice of 55+ apps. Founded in Austin, Texas in 1996 with international headquarters in Chennai, India, Zoho Corporation continues to remain privately held, with over 12,000 employees, and profitable.
