Investment platform Streetbeat has launched SmartPilot, a chatbot-powered portfolio management tool available to all customers using the Streetbeat app. The app offers a range of brokerage account options, including Robinhood, TD Ameritrade and Interactive Broker. SmartPilot uses generative AI to enable customers to create their own investing strategies, called Copilots, which can be actively managed for optimal performance through the app. Damian Scavo, CEO of Streetbeat, said the app is designed to democratise access to quality investment advisory services. Though Streetbeat’s system relies on AI, there are still risks associated with emerging technologies, according to the company.
