On Tuesday, Southwest Airlines faced an issue of technology issues that caused them to cease flights at several airports across the country. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) later stated that the airline had requested to ground their departure. In an apology on twitter, Southwest stated that they hope to resume the operation soon and apologize for the inconveniences caused.
Southwest Airlines is America’s largest domestic airline that began in the early 1970s. Since then, it has grown to service millions of customers each year across the country, including flights to Hawaii, Latin America and now Europe. The company is highly customer-oriented and prides itself on having affordable prices, excellent customer service and free bags-checked.
The spokesperson for Southwest Airline, who was unable to comment on the issue prior to its announcement, is KTVU Fox. He expressed his sympathies and understanding to the situation and hopes to resume the operation as soon as possible. As of now, no timeline has been set and hope that it will be done in a timely manner.
