Snorkel AI unveils new data platform to enhance generative AI through programmatic data development

California-based Snorkel AI has launched the Foundation Model Data Platform, which enables businesses to build their large language models (LLMs) or foundation models (FMs) using their data and knowledge. The platform uses Snorkel Flow, GenFlow, and Foundry to help firms support critical data development for all ways they wish to leverage LLMs and FMs. Snorkel AI‘s programmatic data development aims to address enterprises’ top challenges for generative AI, including accuracy and privacy. Nearly 40% of enterprises are contemplating building enterprise-specific LLMs or adjusting existing ones using their proprietary data. Microsoft, Snorkel AI‘s collaboration partner, has stated that the data-centric firm’s advancements in the arena have the potential to be transformative.
