Snapchat held the Snap Partner Summit 2023 on Wednesday, introducing many features and updates for its 750 million plus active users. The platforms new features include improved methods of sharing stories as well as its much awaited AI-powered chatbot, My AI. It is now officially available for everyone. Using the AI-powered chatbot, users can inquire about plenty topics just like chatGPT, Google Bard and Bing AI. My AI can also add custom Bitmoji avatars and let users recharge with bedtime stories and plan their birthday itinerary.
In an effort to help its creators, Snapchat is also introducing a monetization program to help users earn money by placing ads in their stories. To qualify, creators must have a minimum of 50,000 followers, 25 million monthly Snap views and post ten stories a month. Additionally, the platform has released a brand new call lens to help people stay in touch with each other with 3D landmarks and a new location sharing feature which will make it easier to check up on friends on the go.
