SingleStore Adopts ChatGPT – Blocks and Files

Date:

SingleStore, an enterprise-grade unified database platform, is introducing ChatGPT, a large language model generative AI product created by OpenAI, to its platform for data search. SingleStore is hosting a webinar on April 25th to demonstrate how ChatGPT can be used to explore private data. ChatGPT is renowned for its capacity to respond to complex natural language queries, search aggregate data sets, and generate intelligent answers, at times even creating valid computer code. But the replies can sometimes be wrong.

The webinar intends to show users how to function ChatGPT within SingleStoreDB using Javascript and SQL queries. The SQL queries can be run using vector functions to feed the data to ChatGPT.

MindsDB, a lakehouse shipper, also recently implemented a GPT-3-based system within their database by installing AI Tables, which are virtual tables designed to execute automated learning processes on database data. Databricks, another data delivery provider, has additionally launched an open source Dolly, an AI platform that is suitable for commercial use without heavy GPU requirements or expensive API fees.

SingleStore and MindsDB are aiming to bridge the gap for users attempting to query their corporate data with no need for SQL experts. Not only would this make data research easier for executives and managers, but it would also empower SQL professionals and data scientists to create even greater analysis of data sets.

Madhukar Kumar, the CMO of SingleStore, and Arnaud Comet, the Product Management Director, are presenting the webinar and discussing the introduction of ChatGPT to the data center.
