Date:

SigmaOS, a web browser startup backed by LocalGlobe and Y-Combinator, has launched its AI assistant, Airis, which understands the context of web pages and provides answers based on that understanding. Airis can be called by right-clicking on text and rewriting, translating, or rewording sentences, paragraphs, or articles. It offers pre-written prompts and options like Make it simpler or Write it like a pirate. SigmaOS aims to train Airis to understand entire websites and offer additional services, including creating a workspace for an upcoming holiday. The company allows a select group of people access to Airis upon signing up for a waitlist, with new users being admitted each day.
