Samsung Launches Innovation Campus to Train 1,100 Engineering Students

Samsung Semiconductor India Research has launched the ‘Samsung Innovation Campus’ program at Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in Karnataka. The initiative aims to train 1,100 undergraduate engineering students in cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) to prepare them for future job opportunities.

The collaboration between SSIR and VTU is geared towards equipping students with the necessary skills to thrive in the technology industry. Dr. BE. Rangaswamy, Registrar of VTU, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SSIR, emphasizing the importance of empowering young minds and fostering innovative thinking. Balajee Sowrirajan, corporate EVP & MD of Samsung Semiconductor India Research, expressed optimism about the program’s potential to inspire innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
