Robust Employment Prospects: 69 Million Global Jobs Boosted by AI and Machine Learning in India

According to the study, 61 percent of the companies in India believe that the adoption of new technologies, along with improving digital access, will result in job growth. An estimated 75 percent of the surveyed companies are expected to implement AI, while 25 percent anticipate job losses. The education and agricultural sectors were identified as top contributors to the growth of jobs.

The OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Microsoft’s Bing and Google’s Bard are some of the AI chatbots that are gaining immense popularity. This has also lead to the rise of new career opportunities, such as prompt engineering. Top roles such as AI and machine learning specialists, as well as data analysts and scientists, are identified by the report to drive the industry transformation in India.
