Reviewing Applications of Biochar generated from Agricultural Biomass Waste using Machine Learning and Circular Economy

This article aims to discuss a review of the applications of biochar as a result of agricultural biomass waste using a machine learning approach and circular economy. Biochar is a type of charcoal produced through pyrolysis, which is a type of thermal decomposition of organic materials. It is becoming increasingly popular and is now being used as a soil amendment and for carbon sequestration. In the agricultural sector, biochar can help improve crop yields by increasing soil fertility, improving soil health, and providing carbon sequestration benefits. In this review, we highlight the key principles of a circular economy with regards to agricultural waste management, machine learning approaches for biochar applications, and other salient information about biochar production and its potential uses.

He has a degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection from University of Rhode Island and he holds a PhD in Environmental Science from Chinese Academy of Sciences. Throughout his career, Dr. Wei has extensively researched biochar applications and has been involved in several research initiatives related to the environment and sustainability.
