It looks like the Redmi Note 12 series is getting a refresh in India. Xiaomi is all set to launch the Note 12 4G on March 30. This device will be the first 4G phone in the series and will join the lineup comprised of the Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G and Note 12 Pro Plus 5G.
The company has teased a new colour variant of the Note 12 4G, which features multiple shades blending together like blue, pink and gold. The company might have made the phone with color-changing property, similar to what we have seen with Vivo’s V27 series. We have yet to wait and confirm if this speculation is true.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Note 12 4G will have a flat display, with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Super AMOLED display. It might sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC, which has a peak clock speed of 2.8GHz. The phone is expected to have 4GB of RAM and boot to Android 13, with MIUI 14 on top.
In terms of camera, the device looks to come with a triple-camera setup and a 50MP main camera sensor. It will also sport an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Lastly, the Note 12 4G is confirmed to pack a 5000mAh battery and support 33W fast charging out of the box.
