Queen Maxima Visits Centre of Expertise for Responsible AI Application in Amsterdam

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands visited the Centre of Expertise Applied Artificial Intelligence at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam in Amsterdam to promote the responsible use and application of artificial intelligence (AI). The centre, located at Holland’s largest University of Applied Sciences, focuses on developing AI applications in a responsible and inclusive manner. Queen Maxima engaged with researchers and recent graduates at the Smart Asset Management Lab and explored various AI installations, including an ultra-sensitive fridge that uses AI to self-repair. She also discussed topics such as AI and media, democracy, and the social impact of AI with researchers and partners from civil society. Queen Maxima’s visit comes after her attendance at the Apples of Orange awards, where she dazzled in a gold gown by Natan, one of her favorite designers.
