Professor at Princeton University Creates Unusual and Eerie Anti-Fan-Fic on Corey DeAngelis with ChatGPT

Date:

A professor of sociology at Princeton recently shocked the internet community with an AI-driven piece of “anti-fan-fiction”, mocking school reformers Corey DeAngelis and Betsy DeVos. This curious expert decided to enlist the help of the ChatGPT AI chatbot to create an absurd yet creepy story about both of them, prompting some to question his motives behind writing such a piece.

This AI chatbot, “ChatGPT”, was trained to engage in unstructured text conversations and generate stories from basic input. It’s also no stranger to controversy, having “fact-NUKED” Chelsea Clinton after she publicly denounced the use of adult material to children.

The strangeness of the situation was further deepened by the reaction of school communities, with one Middle School student responding by destroying the school board with a pro-choice t-shirt only to be sent home for it.

This development is only one more example of the determination of school choice reformers to press their agenda on society. It remains to be seen how exactly this will play out in the future.

Corey DeAngelis is an American political advocate who is best known for his work in advocating for school-choice reform. He is a Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute, a public policy research organization based in Washington, D.C. He has also written for the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, The New York Times, and other outlets.

Betsy DeVos is an American businesswoman, philanthropist, and politician. She served as the 11th United States Secretary of Education from 2017 to 2021 under President Donald Trump. As Secretary, DeVos focused on expanding school choice and reforming the education system. She also founded two non-profit organizations in 1989, the American Federation for Children and the Great Lakes Education Project, to promote school choice.
