Product Designer Creates Viral Ideas to Enhance Apps

Date:

An LA-based product designer named Soren Iverson has been garnering attention and a growing following on Twitter for creating mockups of unhinged ideas aimed at improving various apps. Iverson’s ideas include a nepotism label that would disclose whether someone received a particular job due to climbing the corporate ladder or merely because of their family connections. He has also come up with a range of other whimsical concepts like previews of dates using augmented reality on Hinge, Google Docs simplifying corporate jargon, and an iMessage feature that allows users to watch someone as they are typing a message. Iverson has gained thousands of followers on Twitter since he began posting his ideas last December, and he now has 53 paying subscribers who receive exclusive ideas from him each month. The designer is also self-publishing a book containing over 100 of his ideas.
