Peakview Capital, a US fund of funds business, has diversified its investor base with zero commitments from mainland China for its most recent $150m fund, which closed in April. The firm has invested in funds run by Menlo Ventures, Institutional Venture Partners and Foundation Capital, according to founder Erik Lassila. More recently, investments have been made in funds managed by Lightspeed Capital Partners and Andreessen Horowitz. The firm’s closed-door approach means it reveals little information. However, its strategy is reportedly concentrated, investing in ten fund managers in its previous fund and its latest offering.
