Optimism Grows as AI Usage Increases, According to BCG Report

According to a new survey from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), 46% of employees have experimented with generative AI, while 26% use the technology several times a week. As generative AI becomes more widely used, respondents viewed AI optimistically, and concerns about the technology have decreased. The report found that 62% of regular users were optimistic about AI, compared to only 36% of non-users. Leaders expressed optimism more often than front-line employees but it also revealed broad support across all employee groups for AI-specific regulations. The report recommends organizations to create spaces for responsible experimentation, the need for upskilling, and to build responsible AI programs.
