Opera, a web browser company, recently announced plans to add ChatGPT and AI summarization features to its platform. This is meant to improve user’s online browsing experience. These add-ons are available on all desktop devices already in early access.
The AI Prompts feature will help break down long and possibly confusing texts, articles, or websites. It is easily accessible from the address bar by simply highlighting the text. This can offer a custom experience to fit with users’ interests and needs.
Furthermore, the browser now hosts two new tools, ChatGPT and ChatSonic, in the sidebar. It can be used to generate ideas, plans, translations, and other tasks. ChatSonic is equipped to even create images. Through it all, the goal is to allow users a personal and intelligent web connection with solutions to their specific needs.
Opera also plans to add more AI-enabled features in the future, made possible through its GPT-based model.
