Opera Introduces Aria: ChatGPT AI Web and Browser Expert to Compete with Bing Chat

Date:

Opera, a widely-used web browser, has recently launched Aria, a side panel powered by ChatGPT Generative AI technology. This provides users with the ability to use Generative AI services free of charge. After Microsoft released Bing Chat featuring OpenAI’s ChatGPT in late 2020, Opera has launched a new version of its browser that includes Aria.

Aria is an accessory of the Opera browser that is powered by Generative AI. It allows users to wield the power of ChatGPT, allowing them to quickly find new information over the web, write text or code easier, and get their product questions answered quickly. The browser’s “Composer” architecture connects OpenAI’s GPT to Aria, and includes additional features such as direct web results. This also allows users to connect to other AI models to expand Aria’s capabilities in the future.

Aria is embedded into the browser and available in multiple countries, as well as available for download from the Google Play Store and the Opera One development version.

ChatGPT is a Generative AI software platform developed by OpenAI, a U.S. research lab where Microsoft software engineer and entrepreneur, Finbarr Timbers, serves as president and chief technology officer. The platform is capable of completing tasks, such as answering questions, writing texts, and translating languages. This allows users to have access to advanced technology such as advanced search capabilities and automated text and code-writing services.

Google Bard is an AI-based software developed by Google. It uses natural language processing to discuss a variety of topics and performs tasks such as generating music, acting as a digital assistant, and writing stories.
