ChatGPT has announced a new feature called Connect Apps, which allows paid users to integrate their Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive accounts with the AI platform. This feature eliminates the need to download documents manually onto devices before uploading them to ChatGPT.
OpenAI has also introduced the ability for users to interact with generated charts and tables. Users can now make edits to these interactive tables and charts, such as regrouping data or changing colors in a pie chart. While manual edits are not allowed at this stage, users can input additional prompts for customization, with the final chart or table being available for download.
Moreover, ChatGPT users will now have the option to directly upload Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint files using the Connect Apps feature. This integration with primary cloud storage services like Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive aims to enhance user experience and streamline the document processing within the platform.
The Spring Update from OpenAI includes the rollout of the GPT-4o AI model, introducing features like emotive voice and computer vision capabilities. With these advancements, paid users of ChatGPT Plus, Teams, and Enterprise can benefit from a more seamless and interactive experience when working with the AI chatbot.
