OpenAI Unveils ChatGPT App for iOS with Exciting Features

OpenAI, the San Francisco based artificial intelligence lab, recently announced a major update for its popular chatbot ChatGPT and it will now be available for iOS users. ChatGPT is a web-based chatbot that has been used by over hundreds of millions of people since its initial release in November. The latest version of the chatbot is available for the iPhone and it packs a wealth of features as well as enhanced AI capabilities.

ChatGPT allows users to communicate with the AI chatbot and ask questions, get advice, find inspiration, learn, and study. The sync capabilities between the desktop and mobile version allows the user to access the same information from either devices. OpenAI’s whisper technology provides voice input for the chatbot, allowing users to communicate more naturally. In addition, ChatGPT Plus members will get more features and faster response times.

OpenAI has been using comments of ChatGPT users to train their algorithms and make the AI smarter. The voice recognition feature of the iOS version of the ChatGPT will take input in a more conversational tone.

The biggest impact of the launch of ChatGPT for iOS may be on Apple’s voice assistant, Siri and on Google as it is the default search engine in the Safari browser. The release of ChatGPT may encourage more people to give ChatGPT a try as their primary mobile assistant. People can subscribe to ChatGPT Plus for a fee of $20 per month.
