Experts who call for halting AI development will be pleased to learn that OpenAI is not presently training the fifth version of its Generative Pretrained Transformer- GPT5. Sam Altman, Open AI’s CEO, confirms that the organization is not creating this fifth version; instead, the OpenAI team is dedicating its focus to refining GPT4, the most up to date version.
Altman has clarified that training for GPT5 will not be done at this time, and that OpenAI is working on other aspects with GPT4, making it even more accurate, creative and collaborative than before. Among its success stories, in the simulated law bar exam, GPT3.5 scored around the last 10%, while GPT4 not only passed, but with the top 10%.
OpenAI is a leading AI research organization recognized for its work on GPT models throughout various fields, including language interpretation, chatbots, and content formation.
