OpenAI CTO Tweets about Release of ChatGPT for iPhone in Select Countries

Date:

OpenAI, the leading machine learning-based research organization, has announced the launch of their AI-powered chatbot, ChatGPT, for iPhones. Currently, the application is accessible in the United States, with other countries soon to follow. The web-based version of the product made its debut last year and has grown rapidly, with millions of users signing up within the first two months.

The ChatGPT app offers comparable features to the website, allowing users to receive automated responses to their queries. Apart from offering conversational abilities, the AI-powered platform is also capable of tasks like editing documents, analyzing codes, and solving algebra equations. Moreover, users can become Plus members of the app for $20 per month, a sum which will grant them access to premium features, such as plugin support, fast responses, and instant customer assistance.

With the app now being accessible in additional countries, its potential for providing mobile users with interactive information on the go increases manifold. In terms of language comprehension, the chatbot supports 10 various languages, including Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.

OpenAI, the organization behind the successful text-to-image generator Dall-E, has been at the forefront of AI-related endeavors and research in the world. Founded by Turing Award winners, Elon Musk, and Sam Altman, its mission is focused on using secure and thoughtful AI technology to benefit humanity.

OpenAI CTO Greg Brockman believes that the teamā€™s strive to create better user experiences and deeper insights is finally coming true, as evidenced by the ChatGPT app’s immense success. Not only has it demonstrated superior understanding of conversations as compared to other platforms, its ability to process complex problems and procedures make it a groundbreaking technology achievement.
