OpenAI and Smith & Wesson Named Among ‘Most Patriotic Brands’ by Brand Keys

OpenAI, the research company behind ChatGPT and DALL-E, and firearms manufacturer Smith & Wesson are among the new additions to the most patriotic brands list, according to Brand Keys’ annual Most Patriotic Brands in America survey. Following a survey of 6,150 US adults, Jeep occupied the top spot on the list for the 22nd year, despite being Amsterdam-based Stellantis-owned rather than US-owned, while Disney and Coca-Cola maintained their 2022 positions of second and fourth, respectively. A total of 10 new companies, including OpenAI, joined the most patriotic list, with less partisan news organisations, such as the New York Times and Washington Post, omitted. Fox News and MSNBC were tied in 18th place.
