Recorded with the help of AI, the song was extracted from a trove of John Lennon demos used in the mid-’90s to make Free as a Bird and Real Love, but electrical interference rendered Lennon’s vocals unusable. The inspiration for the extraction came from the use of AI to extract clean dialog audio from the studio noise in Get Back, a Peter Jackson film.
