OPAZ Increases AI Adoption with ChatGPT in Special Economic Zones and Free Zones

Date:

The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) has adopted a new artificial intelligence-driven system to advance the quality of its services. OPAZ leverages ChatGPT service to encourage its employees to utilize the artificial intelligence techniques in their day-to-day operations. The service is aimed to refine the service quality and enhance speed to complete investors’ applications while providing greater efficiency.

Mohammed bin Abdulmajeed al Hooti, the In charge of managing OPAZ’s digital transformation programme, commented that the Authority will allow its staff to use the ChatGPT service to access information and support with their responsibilities in a time and cost effective manner. Instead of devoting substantial efforts to train a large number of employees and answering common questions, ChatGPT can be used to quickly and accurately answer these queries effectively.

The ChatGPT service can help OPAZ employees in data analysis, provide more integrated and progressive experiences when coping with the common issues encountered at work, and assist investors and customers in getting instantaneous and accurate responses regarding the services offered. The ChatGPT service allows staff to quickly review data from different sources which can be compared and contrasted in a near-instant manner.

This service can also be a valuable tool for the follow-up and quality control departments in gathering important information about the services provided by the organisation. The insights made from the data can then be used to refine OPAZ performance, execute operations effectively and better the investor experience.

OPAZ is looking to expand the benefits of ChatGPT service to its affiliated zones in the future. By doing so, it aims to help its personnel meet the comprehensive objectives and bring international best practices to operate the zones.
