Nvidia, ServiceNow, and Accenture have collaborated to launch the AI Lighthouse Program, aimed at empowering ServiceNow customers with generative AI capabilities. This strategic alliance combines ServiceNow’s enterprise automation platform, Nvidia’s AI supercomputing and software resources, and Accenture’s consulting expertise and deployment services.
The partnership between Nvidia, IT consultancy Accenture, and helpdesk vendor ServiceNow seeks to offer the AI Lighthouse program, which facilitates the rapid adoption of generative AI tools by ServiceNow customers. Given the natural compatibility between generative AI and IT service management as well as customer service markets, this collaboration holds great potential.
The AI Lighthouse program is specifically designed to enable ServiceNow customers to develop and deploy custom generative AI large language models (LLM) and applications to support their business objectives. With this initiative, Nvidia contributes its AI hardware and software resources, while Accenture brings its IT talent and consulting experience to deploy the technology on ServiceNow’s automation platform and engine.
ServiceNow already offers various AI tools to its customers, including software that utilizes natural language processing (NLP) for 24/7 chatbot assistance, as well as a no-code solution for creating and deploying new language models. Nvidia’s contribution comprises its DGX AI supercomputers and DGX Cloud platforms, along with its NeMo software, which promises AI Lighthouse users comprehensive computing capabilities for model training and fine-tuning. Accenture, on the other hand, leverages its deep functional and industry knowledge along with its generative AI strategy, underpinned by a recent $3 billion investment in AI development.
The overarching goal of the AI Lighthouse program is fourfold:
1. Streamline manual work for customer service professionals by expediting problem-solving processes.
2. Divert cases by promoting self-service options that employ natural human language to address issues.
3. Automate content generation, such as search results, work notes, and knowledge base articles.
4. Enhance developer productivity through intelligent recommendations for code improvement.
ServiceNow’s Chairman and CEO, Bill McDermott, expressed his enthusiasm for the transformative nature of this collaboration, stating, This is a transformational moment for business to revolutionize how work gets done. McDermott anticipates that the AI Lighthouse customer program will inspire breakthrough ideas with significant returns on intelligence.
The AI Lighthouse services are already available. This partnership presents a unique opportunity for ServiceNow customers to leverage the combined expertise of Nvidia, ServiceNow, and Accenture in order to harness the power of generative AI and propel their businesses forward. With a focus on automation, problem-solving, and efficient resource utilization, the AI Lighthouse Program promises to unlock new possibilities for enhanced customer service and organizational growth.
