Nvidia CEO Receives Warm Welcome in Taiwan as AI Stock Soars

Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang, has received a warm welcome in Taiwan, where he attended the Computex trade show and gave a roundtable discussion on AI. Huang explained that AI will not be restricted to tech, but will instead spread to other industries including farming, factories, pharmaceuticals and climate change. Huang is delighted that generative AI is easy enough for use across numerous fields. Nvidia experienced a momentous week after Huang’s predictions for this quarter’s revenue soared past investor expectations, resulting in an AI rally worldwide. Nvidia is currently valued at just under $1tn and Huang’s wealth climbed to a U.S. record of $34bn.
