The National Testing Agency (NTA) is taking a proactive approach to combat cheating during the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exams. With the use of innovative iFace AI technology and dedicated flying squads, the NTA is ensuring a fair and secure testing environment for all candidates.
During the first day of the exam, the iFace AI technology successfully detected one case of impersonation and nine cases of cheating. This advanced technology compares the photo on the admit card with a live photo taken at the exam center to verify the identity of each student. Additionally, stringent measures such as frisking, electronic ID checks, and continuous monitoring through CCTV cameras are being implemented throughout the exam centers.
To oversee the smooth and fair conduct of the exams, NTA headquarters in New Delhi have established control rooms to closely monitor the proceedings. The formation of flying squads to visit different exam centers further reinforces the agency’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of the exams.
In response to the clash of exam dates with the Lok Sabha polls, the schedule for JEE Main 2024 Session 2 has been revised, with the exams now scheduled to take place from April 4 to 12. Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will be conducted on April 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9, with two shifts each day. Paper 2 will be held on April 12 from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
Candidates are advised to carefully review the specific instructions mentioned in the question paper and comply with them accordingly. Hall tickets can be downloaded from the official website using the application number and date of birth. In case of any difficulties, candidates can contact NTA for assistance via phone or email.
With the implementation of stringent measures and advanced technology, NTA aims to ensure a smooth and fair examination process for all candidates participating in the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exams across various centers in India and internationally.
