It was launched on the 12th of April, 2023 in the presence of the company’s Global President Hiroyuki Iwata San and other important personnel from both Japan and India.

The manufacturing plant boasts remarkable multipurpose facilities; producing insecticides, fungicides, intermediates, and ready-to-use formulations. The company estimates that this hi-tech facility is capable of generating production output worth a total of approximately 250 Crores in a year. Furthermore, the plant has been designed in such a way that it is incredibly eco-friendly with features such as zero liquid discharge systems, dedicated acid recovery systems and dust-free blocks.

Nichino India is a part of Nihon Nohyaku Corporation (NNC) – a R&D-based agrochemical company founded in the year 1928. Over the span of nearly a century, NNC has continued to empower farmers worldwide while also taking into account the safety of customers and employees, along with the environment. As part of its mission, Nichino India has recently been successful in developing a new active ingredient called Benzpyrimoxan (BPX) that has taken 10 years of research and development.

BPX is part of a brand-new Japanese technology called Orchestra® that has been specially designed to manage Brown Plant Hopper (BPH). It works through a unique mode of action called the Ecdysone Titer Disruptor, providing extended protection to crops with its long residual activity.

Not to mention, the Orchestra® product falls under the “Make in India” initiative giving India the credit for being the host to this innovative product. Instead of affecting beneficial insects or non-target organisms, farmers testify that Orchestra® has given them great results with healthy tillers, uniformly filled panicles and better yield.
