The Mall of Monroe is experiencing a resurgence with the addition of three new businesses that are set to fill some of the 11 vacant spots in the mall. These new establishments will be bringing a variety of offerings, from jewelry to confectionary treats and salon services.
Monroe Jewelers recently opened its doors on May 8, offering a selection of diamonds, body jewelry, watches, and more. The store aims to provide a wide range of options for shoppers looking for high-quality jewelry.
Sweet Toof, a new confectionary business, is expected to open soon in the former location of Mrs. Fields. This new establishment will offer a variety of sweet treats, including ice cream, cereal, and baked goods, adding a touch of sweetness to the mall.
Hada Beauty Co., a full-service salon owned by the Anaya family, is also set to open at the end of May. With six stations for various beauty services, including hair, nails, and makeup, this salon aims to provide professional treatments and beauty products, some of which are imported from Europe. The Anaya family hopes to establish a business that serves the local community and provides opportunities for those interested in pursuing a career in the beauty industry.
In addition to these new businesses, Dirty Birdie, a virtual golf business with a full bar and restaurant, is also preparing to open its doors soon. This establishment will offer visitors a unique entertainment experience, combining virtual golf with dining options.
Timothy Matune, senior vice president of asset redevelopment for Cafaro, the company that manages the Mall of Monroe, expressed excitement about the new additions to the mall. He highlighted the increase in visitor numbers, with 1.4 million visits recorded in the past 12 months, representing a 40% increase over the previous year.
