New Dell PowerEdge Servers Enhance Performance and Efficiency

Date:

Dell Technologies has announced an additional 13 next-generation Dell PowerEdge servers that have been designed to deliver improved performance, scalability, and energy efficiency. The PowerEdge servers with 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors come with Dell software and engineering advancements that give users control over their IT operations and maximize compute resources. The new PowerEdge offerings are well-suited for cloud service providers managing multi-vendor data centers, as well as for organizations taking an as-a-Service approach for AI-driven innovation, automation, and zero-trust adoption.

Manish Gupta, Vice President and General Manager of Dell Technologies’ Infrastructure Solutions Group, India, has commented on the new servers: “Indian businesses across industries are looking at managing and working with increasing quantities of data. The next-generation Dell PowerEdge portfolio will accelerate their digital transformation with AI-driven innovation, automation, and zero-trust adoption. The expanded portfolio will ensure accelerated performance and reliability for powerful computing across IT environments.”

The company also noted that Dell PowerEdge servers are designed with sustainability in mind, offering customers a 3x performance improvement compared to previous generations systems, which leads to less floor space being needed, and more energy-efficient technology being implemented.

The servers also come with Dell Smart Flow design, enabling improved airflow and reduced fan power consumption by up to 52%. Dell Cloud IQ, Dell ProDeploy services, and the Dell iDRAC9 make server management easier for customers, allowing for proactive monitoring, machine learning and predictive analytics, and faster setup and configuration.
