Netflix’s Terminator Zero Reveals Voice Cast, Including Ahsoka Star Rosario Dawson
Netflix has unveiled the star-studded voice cast for its highly anticipated Terminator Zero anime series, featuring fan-favorite Ahsoka star Rosario Dawson alongside other talented actors.
Dawson will be lending her voice to the character named Kokoro, a mysterious AI creation hailed as Japan’s answer to Skynet. As Kokoro comes online, it faces a crucial decision – is the human race truly a threat as Skynet believes, or is there hope for humanity?
Joining Dawson in the cast are André Holland, who will portray the brilliant programmer and father of three, Malcolm Lee. Sonoya Mizuno will voice Eiko, a resistance fighter sent back in time to thwart Malcolm’s plans involving Kokoro. Additionally, Ann Dowd will take on the role of The Prophet, the wise leader of the human resistance.
The Terminator Zero storyline will unfold across two timelines in 2022 and 1997, delving into the ongoing battle between Skynet’s AI forces and humanity. Timothy Olyphant will voice the Terminator tasked with tracking down Malcolm Lee, forcing him to grapple with the ethical implications of his creation.
This groundbreaking new addition to the Terminator franchise is helmed by Mattson Tomlin and animated by Production I.G. The eight-episode series is set to debut on Netflix on August 29, known as Judgement Day.
