Nano Dimension Acquires Fraunhofer Institute’s DragonFly IV System

Nano Dimension Ltd (Nasdaq: NNDM) is a leading provider of top-notch Additively Manufactured Electronics (AME) and multimedia polymer, metal, and ceramic-based Additive Manufacturing (AM) 3D printers. The company recently announced a purchase order for their newest AME system, the DragonFly® IV, from the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft- a leading German research institution.

The DragonFly® IV system is perfect for this purpose, since it can deposit conductive and dielectric substances with in-situ capacitors, antennas, coils, transformers, and electromechanical components.

This 3D printer’s capabilities is essential for creating autonomous intelligent drones, cars, satellites, smartphones, as well as in-vivo medical devices. It is a great means for efficient prototype production, high-mix-low-volume production, security of Intellectual Property (IP), minimal environmental impact, and design-for-manufacturing abilities- with the additional advantage of additive manufacturing technology.

With this AME system, design limitations can be overcome and development processes can be optimized in terms of speed and expenses.”
