Midjourney Now Available in China Through Tencent’s QQ Platform

Creators in China now have access to Midjourney, an AI-powered image generator offered via Tencent’s instant messaging app QQ. The announcement was made on Monday via Midjourney’s official WeChat account. There are no free trial services available outside of China, but Chinese creators can sign up to the QQ channel and get access up to 25 images for free with limited features. Besides, one can join the platform by signing in at 6 p.m every Monday and Friday starting from May 15. Although there’s no official agreement between Midjourney and Tencent regarding the partnership, Chinese creators are already benefiting from the platform’s exclusive features.
