Microsoft Unleashes AI-Powered Copilot Viva and Viva Glint to Enhance Workforce Productivity

Microsoft has recently launched Copilot for Viva, along with Viva Glint, to help organisations build an engaged and productive workforce. Viva is Microsoft’s employee experience platform which combines goals, staff communications, learning, workplace analytics, and feedback.

Copilot in Microsoft Viva is set to be available for customers later this year, with Viva Glint to be rolled out in July 2023. Copilot will help realise the potential of Artificial Intelligence to boost employee engagement and productivity, leading to better business results and success. Viva Glint is a survey tool to measure and improve employee engagement. Related to this, Viva Goals makes goal-setting simpler for leaders by helping to generate objectives and key results (OKRs) and aiding in goal management.

Viva Engage helps leaders from creating captivating and inspiring posts utilizing simple recommendations or trending topics from workplace forums and storyline talks, while Viva Learning provides curated learning collections and succinct knowledge summaries targeted to individual work or growth objectives, helping leaders skill and train the workforce. Viva Topics aids employees in learning more about important topics and seeing related topics and projects through a conversational interface.

Copilot in Answers helps construct queries with the right level of accuracy and detail, further extracting topics that are pertinent to categorise the question. It is built on the Microsoft 365 Copilot System which makes use of the possibilities of large language models combined with the data from Microsoft Graph and Viva applications. This amalgamation offers a new way for leaders to gain insights and interact with the workforce.
