Microsoft readies Bing AI integration for Chrome and Firefox browsers

Microsoft is planning to expand its Bing AI chatbot to other browsers beyond Edge. While there are already unofficial extensions for Chrome and Firefox, Microsoft’s Head of Advertising and Web Services, Mikhail Parakhin, has revealed that the company will conduct experiments on enabling third-party browsers. The move is seen as a means of widening Bing AI’s potential audience and providing support beyond its own browser. As par of the AI update in June, Microsoft will roll out a large-scale plugin and focus on disengagement rates. Microsoft’s AI advancement is viewed as essential to rival Facebook and Google.
