Microsoft-owned firm OpenAI has unveiled the new ChatGPT app for iOS users, allowing users to take advantage of its advanced AI chatbot from anywhere. The app is free and allows individuals to sync their conversations across devices. Those who opt for the ChatGPT Plus subscription will get access to the full capabilities of GPT-4, exclusive features and rapid response times. Moreover, OpenAI claimed the app also integrates its open-source voice recognition platform, Whisper, for easier access and convenience. The firm will soon expand its reach across other countries in the coming weeks.
In a bid to protect the user’s data, the company has added a feature that allows individuals to turn off their chat history with the AI chatbot. Conversations started with this option disabled will not be stored, and will not be used to train the company’s models, ensuring data privacy.
