Microsoft made sure to include its cloud solution Azure in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) festival that was the Build 2023 developer conference this week. Azure has been increasingly equipped with Machine Learning (ML) capabilities, this week adding an expanded partnership with GPU accelerator provider Nvidia. This newly integrated set of products, development tools, frameworks, and pretrained models is known as Azure Machine Learning.
The Azure Machine Learning Registries platform assembles AI building blocks like containers, models, and data, helping build AI applications that are enterprise-ready and secure. Its integration of Nvidia’s AI Enterprise suite makes the cloud platform redundant and scalable for developers to deploy and manage ML applications. This includes utilizing custom large language models.
Microsoft also offered managed network isolation in Azure Machine Learning, suitable for customers to choose a suitable isolation mode for their security policies. It further extended its partnership with Hugging Face to get acess to its library of ML models on Azure Machine Learning endpoints. The software giant also made Foundation Models -pretrained models- on Azure ML available for use in public preview.
Microsoft is one of the largest technology giants, not only providing cloud solutions but increasingly investing in AI and ML. The company is constantly making strides to provide more innovative products and services related to cloud computing and AI, with its latest advances in Azure Machine Learning.
Tina Manghnani is the product manager for the Azure Machine Learning cloud platform. She is responsible for overseeing the development of the platform from its conception to fruition and managing its continuing success. She has been working with Microsoft for years in various capacities and has always valued the company’s focus on innovation and inclusion. Under her leadership, Tina is dedicated to making Azure Machine Learning the go-to platform for enterprises that need to access and deploy ML models securely.
