Meta, the parent company of Facebook, is reportedly working on a new feature that allows Messenger users to create AI-generated stickers. Ahmad Al-Dahle, Meta‘s VP of AI, announced the company’s plans during an internal meeting stating that the company would leverage its image generation model to let users create stickers based on text prompts. The feature will be tested with employees before it is made available to the public. Al-Dahle added that there’s more to come from Meta‘s generative AI ventures, including AI models that will transform any image you want in any way you want. This includes adding saturation to images or changing their aspect ratio. The company wants to bring AI agents to billions of people and reiterated its goals to launch generative AI features inside WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook, and Instagram.
