MAXUS Leads Irish LCV Market with 22% Market Share in 2024

Date:

Harris Group has secured the number one spot for the MAXUS automotive brand in Ireland, surpassing legacy brands and capturing a significant 22% market share, according to the latest figures.

The MAXUS brand, distributed by Harris Group, has become the best-selling light commercial vehicle (LCV) in Ireland for 2024, marking a significant achievement for this relatively new player in the market. The success of MAXUS can be attributed to innovative marketing strategies, a strong dealership network, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Mark Barrett, MD of Group Franchises at Harris Group, highlighted the key factors contributing to MAXUS’ rapid growth in the Irish LCV market. He emphasized the importance of having a great product, as well as the company’s agility in decision-making and commitment to promoting electric vehicles. With the recent launch of two new electric vehicles in the MAXUS portfolio, the brand is solidifying its position as a leader in the electric vehicle market.

MAXUS’ electric journey began eight years ago with the introduction of the EV80, and since then, the brand has rolled out a total of ten commercial and passenger vehicles in the Irish and UK markets, with eight of them being fully electric. The latest additions, the eDELIVER 5 and MIFA 7, offer impressive range, luxury comfort, and cutting-edge technology, further establishing MAXUS as a trailblazer in the electric vehicle sector.

As part of Harris Group’s growth plans for 2024/2025, MAXUS is set to play a crucial role in the company’s expansion. Under the leadership of CEO Denise Harris, the group is investing in a new showroom and expanding its Training Academy to provide top-notch EV training for technicians.
