Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has revealed plans to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) technology into every single one of Meta‘s products, including Instagram and WhatsApp. During an all-hands meeting with executives, Zuckerberg demonstrated how ChatGPT-like features will modify user photos via text prompts on Instagram, and create emoji stickers for messaging services including WhatsApp. The new AI push aims to expand the Metaverse, which has struggled since its release last year. Meta has been slow to roll out AI tools compared to other tech companies, and is now testing tools for generating image backgrounds and variations of written copy for its ad campaigns.
