The Solana Foundation, a nonprofit organization, aims to make blockchain more accessible and comprehensible by introducing artificial intelligence (AI) with ChatGPT plugin. The developers from Solana let users download ChatGPT plugin from GitHub, enabling them to gain understanding of Solana data as well as its decentralized finance (DeFi).
This ChatGPT plugin offers various applications such as buying nonfungible tokens (NFTs), token transfers, public account data analysis, discovering NFT collections and general transaction assessments. To reach its AI-related ambitions, Solana Foundation changed its grant funding from $1 million to $10 million, attracting 50 applicants, and subsequently initiated a three-month accelerator program to encourage university students to explore blockchain and AI.
In the latest move, Solana Labs launched its cryptocurrency-driven Saga phone in collaboration with OSOM, a Bay-based firm. The Saga phone is costly since it is manufactured using advanced technology like OLED screen, fingerprint selection, 512 GB memory and two adaptable rear cameras. Moreover, the Saga mobile stack function offers a smooth blend of cryptocurrency and both the hardware and software of the phone.
Additionally, the in-built app store only contains cryptocurrency-based apps such as wallet messaging, digital collectibles and crypto trading. It is believed that more applications will be added later.
The Solana company, founded in 2017, is based in San Francisco and is led by CEO Anatoly Yakovenko. The company was formed with the goal of bringing more people into the blockchain space by making it more user-friendly, efficient and resourceful. By introducing AI tools through ChatGPT plugin, the company is now pushing the boundaries of blockchain utilization and, at the same time, helping increase the adoption of cryptocurrency.
