Data management company Cloudera has opened its platform to large language models (LLMs) to help enterprises integrate the power of LLMs and generative AI. The move builds on Cloudera’s open data lakehouse model which enables organisations to run operations atop data lake storage. Cloudera’s latest revisions include the general availability of its observability platform and catalogue of reference architectures which provide existing users with LLM access and the ability to create their own. CTO Ram Venkatesh said the technology allowed scalable, real-time insights from data, adding we have never had it better than what is promised … with LLMs today.
