LinkedIn offers AI-powered tools for ad copy generation

Date:

LinkedIn, a Microsoft-owned company, has introduced an AI-powered tool that generates different ad copies for marketers. The tool uses OpenAI models that analyze data from a marketer’s LinkedIn page and Campaign Manager settings. The suggestions are based on the objective, targeting criteria, and audience. To get different suggestions, marketers can input their copy into the Campaign Manager’s introductory text box and turn on the ‘Generate copy suggestions’ toggle. This feature is currently in a testing phase and only available to some customers in North America. The company plans to add more functionalities, roll out the tool to new geographies, and support more languages in the coming months. Abhishek Shrivastava, VP of Product at LinkedIn, said that the tool could jumpstart creativity and reduce the time spent on day-to-day tasks. The company has introduced other generative AI tools for recruitment posts, profile bios, and conversation starters. Meta and Google have also introduced AI-powered tools to improve ad copies.
