LG Unveils Energy-Efficient HVAC Solutions at AHR Expo 2024, Showcasing Commitment to Sustainability

Date:

LG Electronics, a renowned global technology company, has unveiled its latest HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) solutions at the AHR Expo 2024 in Chicago, Illinois. The showcased residential and commercial HVAC lineups are not only energy-efficient but also demonstrate LG’s firm commitment to environmental responsibility.

At the Air Solution booth, LG is showcasing several cutting-edge HVAC solutions. Among them are the R32 air-to-water heat pump and furnace, designed for residential applications, as well as the Multi F heat pump and the new Multi V i Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) solution, both aimed at commercial use.

One of the highlights in the Home Electrification Solutions Zone is LG’s R32 air-to-water heat pump, which utilizes a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant known as R32. This refrigerant not only meets the latest standards but also ensures reliable heating performance at low temperatures. In addition, the zone features the elegant ARTCOOL Gallery air conditioner, which includes the state-of-the-art DUAL Inverter Compressor and 3-way indirect flow.

Moreover, the Home Electrification Zone showcases LG’s expertise in custom HVAC system design through the versatile Multi F heat pump. This solution is compatible with various indoor units and adapts well to diverse buildings and appliances, ensuring a comfortable indoor environment even in extreme climates.

In the Home Air and Water Solutions Zone, visitors can explore LG’s Inverter heat pump water heater, which serves as an energy-efficient alternative to traditional electricity- or gas-powered heaters. With the capacity to heat up to 80 gallons of water at once, it guarantees a generous supply of hot water and reliable performance. Furthermore, LG’s innovative water heater enhances user convenience through seamless remote control and practical maintenance notifications via the ThinQ app.

Its customizable installation options, including vertical upflow, downflow, or horizontal left or right installation, seamlessly integrate with any existing home setup.

In the Commercial Zone, LG introduces its new Multi V i VRF solution, specifically designed for mid- to high-rise commercial buildings. Equipped with LG’s advanced AI engine, the Multi V i analyzes operational data to enhance comfort, save energy, and provide smart diagnosis functions.

Adjacent to the Air Solution booth, the Component Solutions booth emphasizes LG’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. It showcases the company’s new low-GWP refrigerant residential compressors, which already comply with the latest U.S. regulations on refrigerant use. Additionally, the booth features LG’s scroll compressors for the commercial market and the latest lineup of HVAC fan motors.

James Lee, head of the Air Solution Business Unit at LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company, emphasizes their role in global progress towards electrification and the prioritization of sustainability in HVAC design. He reaffirms LG’s commitment to introducing energy-efficient and high-performance HVAC solutions to strengthen their position in the global air conditioning market, supporting LG’s global strategy as a Smart Home Solution provider.

With LG’s latest HVAC solutions showcased at AHR Expo 2024, the company continues to pioneer innovative and environmentally responsible technology, offering enhanced comfort and energy efficiency to residential and commercial customers worldwide.
