Last Chance to Apply: Nitte University’s BTech Programs Closing on 1st May

Nitte University, one of India’s leading universities, has invited aspirants to apply for their BTech programs in 11 engineering streams. To be eligible, applicants must be successful in their Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) which will be conducted online. The last date to apply for NUCAT is May 1st 2023, with the exam scheduled from May 12th to 14th 2023.

Nitte University’s BTech programs are intended to provide students with a strong foundation in engineering principles, along with new technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, robotics and biotechnology. In addition, students will have opportunities to participate in research, internships, international collaborations, company contract and industry visits. The renowned university has a placement cell which regularly accommodates companies such as Microsoft, Accenture, Siemens, BMW, Oracle, Avanti and IBM India. As proof of their top-of-the-line curriculum, the average package offered their students in 2021 was Rs. 8.1 LPA.

The program offers 11 disciplines to choose from, such as automation and robotics, civil engineering, electronics and communications, biotechnology and mechanical engineering. To be eligible, applicants must pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject. They must also secure 45% marks in the aforementioned discipline (40% marks in case of reserved category).

The Nitte University BTech programs have been accredited with A+ Grade by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Such recognition means that Nitte University’s curriculum meets the highest standard of quality and relevance specified by the NBA. Additionally, this approval allows students to continue with higher education, both domestically and internationally.

A distinctive feature of the Nitte BTech courses is the choice-based credit system, which allows students to pick electives from various fields and customize their learning experience. People can also pick from course modules related to statistics, computer science and coding, business management, foreign languages, etc. The system aims to induce interdisciplinary learning, innovation and skill development among students.

The University has been graded with A+ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and ranked among the 100 leading universities in India by the National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF).
